Volvo Squire Furneaux
Volvo Slough was one of the first of the new breed dealership to incorporate the latest Volvo VPS concept of workshop. We worked closely with the client, architects, contractors and Volvo themselves to make sure that Volvo’s vision was exactly met. Due to this, we designed a clean, clear and crisp look that included the new model glass inspection area as well as making sure that all lifts in the new workshop we recessed and so maximising the usable space.
The workshop incorporated Rotary In-Ground Cassette Lifts, a Technique Class 4 MOT bay, and Technique Recessed Scissor Lifts. We also work closely alongside the main contractors when designing the VPS wall to make sure that the lift controls, and the oil and air supply reels were recessed and therefore hidden within the walls.

McLaren Hatfield
We here at Kent Garage Equipment, are very proud of one of our most recent completions. McLaren Hatfield boasts a sleek, minimalist design with ease of access in a narrow workshop the key feature. Due to the low-slung supercars that would make up the engineer’s workload the decision was made to install Rotary Cassette In-Ground lifts, this gave the workshop the perfect combination of functionality and ease of movement as well as future-proofing due to the world-renowned reliability and low running costs.
Exhaust Extraction reels were added with one reel between two bays this allows the most effective combination of a safe and clean working environment for the engineers whilst keeping costs to a minimum. They were installed in the ‘drop’ style allowing the reels to be kept out of the way when not needed but on hand when they were, thus maximising efficiency in the workshop.
The quality finishing touch of this workshop was the black Dura Cabinets. This allowed maximum storage of tools, air, oil, and water reels, and spare parts without clogging up the workshop with old-fashioned roller toolboxes.
